4d. Working with a Financial Counselor

One powerful tool a patient has at their disposal is a financial counselor, or patient advocate. Most cancer centers and hospitals have this in some form or capacity. The cancer care team can connect patients with a counselor to talk confidentially about financial concerns or budgeting.
