6. Fundraisers
To ease the burden of out-of-pocket expenses from cancer treatment, many patients and their caregivers hold a fundraiser. Fundraising events come in a multitude of forms, from 5k walks to pancake breakfasts, online donations, auctions and more. To make fundraising easier, caregivers can work with a nonprofit agency or entity.
