Many of the currently available cancer prescriptions were developed in the last 20 years and are priced at more than $100,000 per patient for a year’s treatment. To assist with medication costs, patients should reach out to their pharmacy to ask about starting an account. They may also have information on available grants from the pharmacy or pharmaceutical companies.
