9a. Financial Assistance Programs

Most medical facilities have a financial assistance program. While each program works a little differently, there is usually an application process. The forms are generally easy to fill out, but require some financial information from the patient. The forms can also usually be found on the hospital/facility website. A social worker or nurse navigator will be able to connect the patient with a financial counselor for assistance completing the forms.
